"Ivy Mae" E38-1, a 1981 American LaFrance fire engine, originally served the Borough of Canonsburg, PA. After being retired from her original assignment, the rig was then purchased by the Ellsworth VFC of Ellsworth, PA in 2010. The apparatus is a Century Series model equipped with a 1500 gpm pump, 750 gallon booster tank, an on board generator, pre-piped deluge device, and quartz spot lights. She is powered by a Detroit Diesel 6V92 motor and an Allison automatic transmission.
Unit has been stored in doors and will include nearly all equipment, hose, ladders etc as shown. Lots of nice upgrades, spotless inside and out.
Unit is in need of carrier bearings for drive train. Will go into gear and can drive but should be trailered to new home. UHFC can coordinate transport for new owner.
